By illustrating where manufacturing falls short, we demonstrate need. Need reveals opportunities. Opportunities create new businesses.~Since the 1970s, American manufacturing has declined - almost to the point of putting it on the endangered species list. We sacrificed quality for efficiency. Allowed corporate profits to run roughshod over local economies. This left the sector in a sad state of affairs - we’ve lost our competitive edge on multiple fronts: labor, cost of goods and production. We even lack the facilities because we sold them for scrap or shipped them overseas. Grim as it sounds, bright spots shine through.

By illustrating where manufacturing falls short, we demonstrate need. Need reveals opportunities. Opportunities create new businesses.
